Abstract We investigate the quench dynamics of a two-component Bose mixture and study onset modulational instability, which leads system far from equilibrium. Analogous to single-component counterpart, this phenomenon results in creation trains bright solitons. provide an analytical estimate number solitons at long times after for each two components based on most unstable mode Bogoliubov spectrum, agrees well with our simulations quenches weak attractive regime when possess equal intraspecies interactions loss rates. also explain significantly different soliton realistic experimental homonuclear potassium terms interaction particle component estimating characteristic time appearance instability variety strengths Finally we evaluate influence beyond-mean-field contribution, is crucial ground-state properties mixture, both evolution radial width mixture. In particular, even strongly effective do not observe dynamical formation solitonic droplets.
